This program is designed to teach the skills necessary to serve as a foundation for careers within the Manufacturing/Construction Welding fields. Classroom instruction will include workplace safety, blueprint reading, applied math, training of hand and power tools, and instruction on proper procedures of lab equipment. Students will develop welding skills using carbon and exotic metals necessary to continue with post-secondary education, or to obtain an entry-level position in the Manufacturing/Construction Welding occupations.
